On Saturday, September 24, Elhondra Brazzle and Julio Delgadillo were invited to perform at the Library of Congress National Book Festival Poetry Slam in Washington, D.C. We are pleased to announce that Elhondra placed first and Julio placed second, representing the city of Des Moines with pride.
