Much love to the poets, emcees, and dancers who took the stage at Friday’s Share the Mic! Special shout-out to the Rebel City crew for opening the show with their magical moves. We are proud to share that the squad raised $833 for C.O.R.E., a student-led group whose purpose is to unite strong leaders in high schools in support of students of color pursuing college-level courses throughout Iowa schools. As always, immense gratitude to our resident photographer Eduardo Arana for capturing the truth and power of the performers.
